I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Grovetown, GA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Very laid back as most restaurants - mainly a “feel you out” type conversation and giving a full blown description of the company, no questions were asked except availability, when I could start, and clearing up some issues.
The interviewer then took a call interrupting and ending the interview
I called back to check on the status, was told I had been hired and to watch for an email for a background check. After patiently waiting several days to ask again, and was told yet again to just keep an eye out because the HR person had gone out of town and must not have sent it. A week went by and I called AGAIN. I was told that the GM was out of town (didn’t ask for him) and that due to their staffing budget it might be 2 weeks or more before they could bring me on. I took a job with another company.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Glendale, AZ) in Jan 2020
Interview
Manager seemed nice but looking for someone to commit 100% to this job and not have another option. Seemed decently busy when I went in, nothing crazy. Should be able to make good money if you’re looking for a side morning job
