I had a genuinely positive experience with the people at CrowdStrike. What began as an exploratory chat quickly turned into multiple rounds of interviews with senior leadership and various team members. I spoke with product folks about my approach to product and project management, and I had several conversations with engineers about my leadership style, how I develop teams and individuals, how I handle conflict, and how I create balance within a team. I also had a system design interview that was both interesting and challenging. They shared the exercise ahead of time, which gave me the chance to think deeply, research, and come prepared. The recruiter was quick with her communications and never left me wondering what's going on.
Every single person I met—from the recruiter to the engineering leaders—was genuine, curious, kind, and sincerely enjoyable to talk to. In the end, the role was eliminated in my region, so no offer came through, but the experience as a whole was overwhelmingly positive.
