I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2024
Interview
Conversational, engaging, attentive, customized to the applicant’s experiences and responses. Good communication from recruiter. Quick turnaround on updates, interview scheduling and communication of next steps despite a high workload in recruiting due to impressive growth in staffing commensurate with growth in sales and customer base.

Question 1
Some questions about the company that I won’t spoil. I suspect the question can vary widely and the purpose was to understand what sort of homework I han done in the organization, and perhaps pivot to talking about the company’s mission.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CrowdStrike (Houston, TX)
Interview
By far this was my worst interview. The manager I interviewed with was new and used the time to vent about how they were having a hard time in their role. I felt based on my appearance the manager used the time to let off steam. Never intending to hire me . Most likely at first look. I was given only 15 minutes to talk about myself the entire interview.
Very fair and collaborative. There is a lot of understandable emphasis on supporting customers and working together to solve issues. One thing I quickly learned is how can we “put ourselves in the customer’s shoes” to see how we can help through that lens and provide successful outcomes.
