I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Crunchyroll (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Recruiter reached out 1-2 weeks after submitting application. Following, every stage of the process - phone screen, hiring manager interview, team interview, I had to bump to get a response.
They ended up deciding I was too overqualified and went with another candidate.
Interview process was enjoyable, all the calls and video interview conversations were great and positive. However the process ended dragging on for 2 months (with a rejection) which leaves a bitter taste.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crunchyroll (Culver City, CA) in Jan 2023
Interview
I applied online and within a week I received an email from the recruiter to schedule a 30 min phone interview. After my call I immediately emailed the recruiter to withdrawal my application and thanked them for their time.
When I was informed with their extensive interview process I was appalled as I have never had to go through many ropes for a position. It is understandable to ensure you hire the right person for the job based on qualifications and the company’s interest, however if you know what you’re interested in after a call and 2-3 at the most interviews someone should know if a person is a good fit for the role.
Also when speaking with the recruiter it must of not been a good time for her because at the beginning it was fine then further along she didn’t seem interested and kept cutting me off. Unless she knew I wasn’t what they were looking for and she was over it, but why not just cut the call short and end it?! I know I wanted too.
It only progressed to her speaking to me in a rude condescending tone throughout the rest of the call which was not professional and that topped the icing on the cake for me.
