I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cummins (Indianapolis, IN) in Sep 2019
Interview
I had two phone interviews, one in-person 3 hour interview in 2 parts, by 3 people, a follow up phone call to find out my desired compensation.
The first phone interview was with a manager who couldn't be at the face to face. The second wound up seeming like a waste of my time because I interviewed again with the same person, in person. This is not to say he wasn't a likeable guy, but in total I wound up having 4 1/2 hours worth of interviews and still walked out uncertain exactly what they were seeking in a candidate, because the questions were all over the place. At one point I was even asked to contrast an interface with an abstract class. . . for a "senior" Java position.
