Step 1: I applied online for the business development graduate programme
Step 2: I done the standard psychometric and competences test
Step 3: Received an e-mail stating that I passed the test, however I did not make it through to the assessment center day as the number of applicants had been selected. I found this unfair, if I passed then I should've of been given an equal opportunity.
Step 4: They offered me an alternative graduate programme 'general management', which I agreed to partake in. However, the interview process was completely unprofessional. Especially coming of from been rejected for a job I passed. So I step up an interview day and time then less than 12 hours before the interview I was told by a colleague that they would want to set up a date and time with me. I replied back stating that I already had a fixed date and time but the incompetence of the talent acquisition manager and his attitude did not come of respectfully.
Step 5: Rearranged, the interview time and conducted an interview. The interview was based on my competence test and I was asked to demonstrate (of course, use the STAR model) where I used those competences.
Step 6: Was assured that I would hear feedback and whether or not if I passed or not but nothing.
