I applied online and received an email from the recruiter within 2 business days, we set up a screening and then I moved onto the first interview.
The recruiter talked in detail and at (extreme) length about the company's culture and how much they value it, acquisitions, and presence in the service provider world, but really didn't ask me at all about my background or take a lot of time describing the position or team in more details, so I feel like the first round interviewer and myself were both at a bit of a disadvantage when I had my first interview; it wasn't what I expected, being listed as an operations role, and my background wasn't exactly what they were looking for.
Overall I'm glad I didn't go ahead and take their extensive online assessments before the first interview, because there are 3 total and the 1st one is apparently 90 minutes long.
