DISH Manager interview questions

The interview went well with the recruiter. However, the test they have you take is rather ridiculous for a few reasons. I was told that I can get help with the questions from other people and that I can use Google. Yet in the email that has the link to the test, it specifically says not to do that. Is this a test of my integrity? Do the recruiters need you to pass that test to move on so they tell you to cheat? Overall, I found it weird. The questions are similar to what I had done for SATs. I have a BS degree from an accredited college. Why do I need to go through these rather complicated and not applicable questions before speaking to a manager of any kind? My advice would be to brush up on your algebra that you haven’t used for 10+ years.

Managers are not taught proper interview techniques so they use whatever it is they feel may have worked for them in the past. Usually a phone interview by HR at first. Assessment tests taken first before an interview is given. once interview is assigned and completed the applicant must go through background checks. This can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month.
