A recruiter reached out to me about the role. 6 rounds in total: recruiter call, hiring manager presentation, 3-person panel presentation, a take-home assignment, a design crit of IC’s work, and a behavioural interview. I only made it to round 3, but I was so impressed by how they handled themselves. At every stage they were clear about what they were looking for, providing a typed-up rubric or a separate call where the recruiter would give actionable feedback from the last round and instructions for the next. Even after that my round, they still offered to hop on a call and let me know what I did well and what I hadn’t demonstrated.
The one downside is that the process is like a full-time job. They try to complete all the interviews within 4 weeks, and with such detailed requirements per interview, you have to reformat your work and your story very quickly, sometimes within days between rounds.
