Interview
I was really excited about this company and the job itself sounded amazing. I had a zoom interview with an internal recruiter. He asked me about my work experience and it was a really casual conversation. He talked a lot about the company and the benefits of the job and how many opportunities it would bring and how great it would be for my career.
He said he liked my CV and the next stage would be an interview with the hiring manager. He told me he would get back to me in a couple of days (by Wednesday). A week had gone by and I hadn't heard anything so I followed up via email asking for an update. It's now been weeks and I never received a response from him. The candidate experience wasn't great at all. I would have even appreciated an email saying they had gone with someone else, especially when I was given a day that he would get back to me by.
