I interviewed three times after applying online. First was with the recruiter which lasted 20 minutes over the phone, next was 30 mins on Teams with a current AE and their manager, and the final interview was an hour including a 30 minute presentation to the same two plus the SVP. First two interviews felt very quick and didn't leave a lot of time for me ask my questions, after the obligatory questions had been asked by the hiring team. The final interview gave me less than a week to prepare a half hour presentation based on three lines of text. The impression I had off the SVP was that I had misjudged the brief, despite asking for clarifying information through the week and receiving no answers. After being told I was down to the final two for the role, I then had to chase the recruiter for three weeks afterwards to be told they had gone with the other candidate, because they had "more PAM experience". A real shame to ask candidates to put in that level of effort during interview stage without giving genuine feedback.
