HR reached out on LinkedIn and after the initial screening on phone call, I was scheduled for a product sense interview. The interviewer introduced himself and then asked me for a quick intro. He then proceeded to ask the product sense question. As I answered, the interviewer asked relevant clarifying questions. Was respectful overall. The interviewer mentioned that he liked the solutions I provided. After a couple of days, the HR reached out that they are moving ahead with other candidates with better domain expertise. I followed up asking if I am being rejected because I did not do well in the product sense interview or because my experience did not have enough domain expertise. I did not get a response back.
