Oh, boy it was really bad.... I was contacted by a recruiter who told me, they are looking for a developer just like me for a very competitive salary(it was lower than my current salary, of course..), but I was willing to take the interview out of curiosity. The first round was with the manager, that went well. The feedback I've got from them was super positive, the manager was amazed by my performance and experience. The second round I've had a take home assignment, that took me around 12 hours to make because I wanted to make more than the bare minimum. After that, I've submitted it and got an email from them, that they are looking for someone more experienced in the field, with no review whatsoever. Even tough I checked the assessment criteria and I've done way more than they asked and I even should have gotten even "plus points" for the exercise based on THEIR description. So in summary the interview is way too much hustle for what they are offering, and if you get an assessment you won't even get a decent review of the code you wrote. Don't even dream of getting payed for the technical test, like you would be at a decent company.
