      Account Executive Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2021

      Interview

A lot of the reviews I read were scary so I wanted to share my experience. Overall, this was one of my best experiences with interviewing. I applied online. Took about two weeks to hear back from the recruiter to set up a phone screen. Went as expected. If you don't have a 1-2 minute elevator pitch for your work experience, create one. Set up interview with RVP later in the week. It was about 30-45 mins long. Very relaxed with standard sales interview questions. Be able to talk about your sales experience...your goals, metrics, etc. That all went well. Was told I would be moving on to the final interview with two other RVPs on the team to do a mock presentation. Final interview was about a week later (I think they space it out a bit to give you time to prep). This one was literally only scheduled for 25 minutes. The two other RVPs were really friendly. Started with them introducing themselves and me giving my resume rundown and then we jumped into the mock presentation. Despite a little bit of nerves, it went well. They gave immediate feedback - things I did well and areas for improvement, I honestly really appreciated that part. I was told I would hear back by the following Monday but my recruiter reached out the next day to tell me they wanted to offer me the job. I feel the entire process was super transparent and easy. Everyone I spoke to was very easy going (I too am very easy going, so maybe that played a role) but that seems like the general company culture. My recruiter was amazing and the one time she missed one of my emails, she apologized profusely about it. The RVPs seem like they are not only looking for a good sales person but some who is a good fit culturally as well. They ask questions like "what do you need in a manager?" which to me says they care about their people and want them to succeed.

      Interview

Really swift and positive. Good Information given and direct feedback. Seemed like a really good place to work for and people to work with. Would highly recommend. Discovery call was challenging in a good way

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Docusign (New York, NY) in Apr 2025

      Interview

I interviewed with Docusign for an Account Executive role. All men interviewed me in every round. I got to the final round, and they kept asking me what information the recruiter gave me prior to the final round interview. Leadership seems to have issues with the recruiting team and didn’t offer the eposition because they felt the recruiter helped me too much. Very backwards and unfair to the candidate. I stayed with my current job after all that, where the salary is higher actually. Dodged a bullet.

      Interview

Pretty standard interview process: 4 rounds (Recruiter > Hiring Manager > Presentation > Final Round). Never received any feedback or a decision after the final stage which was pretty frustrating.
