1. Phone Call with the Recruiter 2. Technical Phone Screening including coding via shared doc explaining your thought process 3. Virtual onsite - 3 Rounds, 1 hour each of Technical Interviews I've interviewed candidates myself for software engineer roles and I always make sure I'm cognizant of the time so the candidate can clearly convey their thought process to me, unfortunately, this wasn't the case with Docusign. In all the rounds, all interviewers spent half of the time asking me the very same questions all the previous interviewers asked, which was regarding a specific project I worked on. While getting more insight about a candidates background is important, it was apparent that the interviewers did not sync up prior. This left less time for me to demonstrate my coding and problem solving abilities. Even though I was able to efficiently solve the coding exercises I was rejected. I wasn't surprised because I was left little time to express my thought process clearly. My advice to the Docusign technical interviewers would be to be mindful of the candidates time and to do pre collaboration so interviewers aren't asking the same question to the candidate every time.
