I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dominion Energy (Richmond, VA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied online and submitted resume through online portal. Navigating the page was difficult. They keep a separate student hiring portal from other pro hirings, and they are not easily distinguishable. Other than that, all was well. Had a panel at the interview on the phone and struggled to remember their names. Did not hear back for a month until hearing rejection. I would say the interview was kind of slow in the sense that they moved my application through the process very slowly.

Interview
Asked in depth project and highlight oriented questions. For interns, went straight to a final round interview over the phone. For my first interview, I spoke with two members of the department to discuss my experiences and the role. They gave me their backgrounds.

Interview
Online application that was mostly all the basics of any internship position. This was followed by an in-person interview - panel style with a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The questions were tough, but somewhat predictable in terms of the technical aspects. Interviewers were helpful, and didn't expect you to know everything
