I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DraftKings (Boston, MA) in Jan 2019
Interview
The process began with a recruiter phone screen where I was able to learn more about DraftKings as a company and hear about how the rest of the process would go! After this, I had a phone technical interview which involved a live coding question that required object-oriented programming and optimizing your approach for runtime complexity. Following this, I was flown into the Boston HQ for an on-site Super Day which involved three interviews. The first of these was an in-person coding challenge on a laptop that asked for more object-oriented design. The second was an object-oriented design exercise with a senior engineer on the whiteboard. The last interview was a technical deep-dive with a manager where I was asked to talk about my tech experience and display an ability to teach someone about various computer science concepts. Overall, all of the questions and coding problems were related to the DraftKings business, so the interview felt very close to the actual job!
