- Submitted resume, heard back next day to schedule interview.
- Initial interview with HR went well, was told I would be sent a zoom to meet hiring manager which was promptly sent after the phone call.
- 2nd interview with hiring manager was ok, he kept looking at his phone the whole time and seemed disinterested and not really interested in listening to the answers to the questions. Told me I would hear from recruiting with next steps.
- Got a generic email a couple days later that they have candidates with a better fit for the position.
It was pretty much a waste of time. Didn't even send me any technical question or a hackerrank. I have more management experience then the manager who was interviewing me. When I interview someone I show interest in learning about the candidate more than my phone.
Suggestion:
They should probably have an HR staff member sit in on all interviews.
Pros:
Recruiter was quick to follow up so they seem to have good HR staff.
Compensation seemed to be pretty good though I didn't get all the specifics
Company is in a hot field with a lot of growth and seemed like a cool atmosphere with a lot of in office type of perks
