DraftKings Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Standard hr interview, tech screen. OOD - well documented on glassdoor and agree with most everything that is said. The criteria they are grading on seems strange and the interviewer did not seem interested. Behavioral - I was told I didn't show much interest in the project. Let me tell you, if I showed any more interest in the project I would come off as a gambling degenerate. This tells me they were either making stuff up or just not listening at all. Really left a sour taste in my mouth. System design - you pick previous project

I am not going to repeat what one of the candidates on Mar, 2022 said from on Austin, Tx. It was my exact same experience. The technical screening was good. And the OO Design was poor explained, I have a strong feeling this person had little to no real programming experience, since he was not following what I was explaining to him, but he kept on insisting on asking for meta trace, which exactly what i was doing in terms of objects, methods, and the call chain. The third round, technical deep drive. I explained and answered everything about the architecture I had at hand. They probably wanted me to have a built google search, not sure. I am guessing this was the round that wrecked me. The final round with hiring manager, was a bit weird. The manager asked less questions, and made me ask more and explained a lot, which was indeed helpful. But it was weird that most of that hour, was me interviewing him. And in two working days got a rejection. Draft kings interview was one of those interviews, where you have no clue what went wrong.
