I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2017
Interview
The interview process was very long and drawn out. From the time I applied until I received an offer was two months! You have to fill-out multiple job applications (3 I think) that all ask for the same information. Then you have at least two phone interviews and at least 2-3 in-person interviews. I don't think you jump through this many hoops to get into the FBI! (just kidding of course). The interviews consisted of all behavior based questions (i.e. tell me about a time...) and took about two hours each. After the first interview, it was a full two weeks before I was invited for a second interview. Then you have to complete an online test that measures your customers service, graph interpretation, and math skills. I got tired of waiting for them to make a decision, so I took another job. Then I was offered this one. The compensation was very low for the position and the benefits are sub-par. Employees are expected to contribute a lot toward insurance.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you have a disagreement with a supervisor and how you handled it.
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.

Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
