I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones in Aug 2017
Interview
Phone interview, if you pass, you'll have an in person interview. There are multiple online forms to complete regarding your background, asking about your finances. If you have any bankruptcies, collection, basically any issues/problems with money. If you pass that step, I had a 2nd in person interview. Personality test. Complete background check. Drug screen. Fingerprinting. The whole process took approximately 4 weeks. Aug 26 phone interview. Sept 27 job offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They want real life scenarios that you can answer based on real experiences. They are usually 2 & 3 part questions. i.e. Name a time where you had to plan an event with limited time & limted resources. What was the outcome.
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.
I interviewed at Edward Jones (Westlake Village, CA)
Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
