Interview Process:
I had a 1-hour first-round technical interview with a Director and a Senior Associate. The format was a mix of scenario-based problem-solving questions and some shorter technical questions. From my perspective, the interview went really well—I was able to demonstrate my experience across cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and troubleshooting live systems. The panel was professional and asked relevant questions aligned with the role.
Post-Interview Experience:
After the interview, I followed up with the recruiter several times but received no updates. In parallel, I received another offer from another company. I informed the recruiter of this situation and reiterated my strong interest in the EA role, asking if he could provide any feedback or status updates. The very next day, I was informed of a rejection.
Pros:
• Technical interview was well-structured and relevant.
• Panel members were knowledgeable and professional.
Cons:
• Lack of transparency after the interview.
• Poor communication and feedback loop with the recruiter—no constructive feedback provided despite my follow-ups.
• The timing of the rejection felt abrupt and unprofessional.
Overall Impression:
While the interview itself was positive and aligned with my skills, the post-interview experience was disappointing. EA could greatly improve by providing timely updates and constructive feedback to candidates
