The interview process with Hotel Engine is completely backwards. A recruiter will find you on LinkedIn and ask to schedule a call. During the call they can only answer basic questions, as they don't seem to know much about how the actual position runs, I cluing expectations. Shortly after the call, they will send you an email giving you a "case study" to work on for round two. This is a mock presentation you will give to a client that is unsure if they want to continue doing business. You will put a lot of time and effort researching this company and building a visual presentation to share, then another 30 minutes presenting. All of this is done before any kind of interview with a hiring manager. So you will still be unsure if this company and role are a good fit for your needs. Then you will read online employee reviews stating so much about this company is bogus. Kind of like their interview process? And then you'll receive a call stating "Sorry, we are moving on with other candidates, this is a very competitive position". Waste of time for 60k per year sales job
