I had applied online. I was contacted by a recruiter to arrange for a time to speak with the hiring manager (chief strategy officer). During our video call, the interviewer was quite distracted with other e-mails, texts, etc. Very rude and unprofessional! Also, even though the job posting says that this is a “hybrid role”, the hiring was very adamant that this would shift to a 5 days a week in the office role. This is quite misleading. In any event, I was informed that someone would get back to me by the end of the week but no one did. Ghosting candidates is never cool. Fortunately I am finalizing an excellent offer as the Head of Strategy with a reputed large tech that offers 100% remote / virtual work. In this post-COVID era, work-life balance is paramount and I am really happy that I did not pursue this in-the-office role with Enova.
