I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (San Antonio, TX) in May 2014
Interview
The interview process was fairly easy. Went through four stages. First to meet with a recruiter. Next, you met with a manager of your local branch 1:1. After that, two advisers met to interview with me. Lastly, I spoke via phone w the EVP of the state to get an offer.

Question 1
Array of questions that will help determine what kind of personality you have
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.
Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.
