I applied online. I interviewed at Esri (Redlands, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks before I got an email from HR to do a screen virtual interview. HR recruiter was super nice and laid back made me feel comfortable and calm during the interview. Explained the position and company well. After a week, an email was sent to move to 2nd interview with hiring managers. The interview was virtual. The managers told me that they had not looked at my resume until that moment. It was very unprofessional and disrespectful as they were not paying attention to the interview but focused on what they were doing on their side. I had never experience such a horrible interview and I feel that it was waste of time on all parts. I continued with the interview but didn't feel I was the person of interest. So, I cut it short after the Q&A - In a professional manner, I told them thank you for your time and will not keep you any longer goodbye. Of course, I was not selected to move forward and don't care because that is not a team culture I would want to be in.
