Interview
Initial contact was from a recruiter via LinkedIn, followed by a hiring manager screening round. There would have been 3 more rounds after that. The recruiter promised to send an interview preparation kit over email after the initial phone contact but I only received info on the next round.

Question 1
The VP of engineering asked about previous projects. He was ex-Amazon and had very opinionated views right in the interview which put me off and I immediately lost interest. The interviewer was more interested in showing off his experience from Amazon and knowledge - and his knowledge was also not really accurate.
Had gone through 6 rounds with the amazing interview panelist. Exploring the managerial capabilities, my skills, strengths, impact , scenario based questions. Met the VP and Head of HR as well in the last 2 rounds which was helpful to understand what are the expectations out of the role

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eventbrite in Jul 2022
Interview
My review from July was deleted. I had an initial interview with Eventbrite. I met with a technical recruiter and we chatted about my experience. The conversation and connection started out really well. After 9-mins into the interview, interviewer asked me about my salary requirements. I provided a range (based on my research). I mentioned a range and said it was negotiable. It felt unprofessional because then the interviewer ended the awesome conversation abruptly. The interviewer then asked me if I had any questions - I asked them about their culture, and team size, etc... Then I asked if the pay expectation seemed reasonable because I did mention it was negotiable. The interview said that it was - not sure why there seems to be a 'tug-o-war'. I asked for feedback on the interview and go no response.
