I applied online. I interviewed at Everlight Solar in Apr 2020
Interview
Interview process seemed okay, the only interview I had was a 15 minute zoom interview with someone who just asked general questions, but knew nothing about the position I had applied for. After the interview, I did not hear back from them at all for a while. I did finally hear back SIX months later after I had applied and interviewed, telling me they will not move forward with my application.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Everlight Solar (Minneapolis, MN) in Dec 2025
Interview
Quick easy phone screening.
Two interviews with a current sales rep. The interviews were very easy, they are really just looking if you are a good fit. Show you are driven and will like the grind.

The interview process was simple and quick. It was an online interview over zoom. Only lasted around 10 minutes. The questions were about describing yourself and your experience in the business realm. The interviewer had their camera off.
I applied online. I interviewed at Everlight Solar (Madison, WI) in Feb 2021
Interview
I applied online, set up a screening zoom call after a couple weeks. Process was fairly easy, after that they sent a personality test. Got to the second round of interviews and that's when I had to pump the brakes. First of all, I found out the internship is a door-to-door sales position, which was not in the job description. The work day schedule is strange: 9-1 with a three hour break then 4-8, AND working on Saturday. Also this is a company that hires employees on as 1099 so they don't have to pay as high of taxes for their "contractors". Claimed I would have greater pay than a W-2 but paying that additional self-employment tax as a 1099 doesn't sound like the employee would gain anything. Also, no PTO or benefits because of the 1099.
