Interview
Bizarre interview process. First interview was 15 minute overview of the company. Second interview was a few weeks later, scheduled for 60 mins but ran over by half an hour with the interviewer's camera off the entire time. Third interview again was supposed to be 60 minutes - interviewer arrived 10 minutes late, again with camera switched off, and ran over by 15 minutes. Only on this third interview was I told it was a 1099 position with no base pay that requires a Macbook purchase before starting. Seemed downright manipulative to leave this information until so far down the line - got a strong Kool Aid vibe from the final interview and declined offer. No guarantees except "it's a great place to work" (which I would've believed more if not for the insanely impersonal interview process). Was offered a fourth interview and declined.

Question 1
Would you rather tell your supervisor you didn't finish everything you needed to do, or that you finished everything but some things may need correcting?

Interview
It is really funny that they demand you own a $2000+ Mac computer for a $30k a year job. As others have said, they have pre-screening interviews that are the same for every position, conducted by someone who has no information about the specific role you're applying for. This person stresses that they are interviewing hundreds of people for only a handful of openings. The one plus is that they don't string you along, but seriously don't waste your time with them.
