The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. First interview was at the district office. It was more of a sales pitch. You have to pay rent to work at the office and you have to buy leads if you cannot generate your own. If you are apart of your community and you know a lot of people this might be a good option. I was impressed that the recruiter was very straight forward with me and gave me honest answers.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group
Interview
Online screening, two video calls, background check, four paragraph assignment that is esentially another application with basic questions like: describe your history, how does your experience transfer to the role, how do you market yourself, why do you want to work here (standard questions really). However, my interviews felt more like interrogations and manipulation. I was described and rated on my intelligence based on my screening, and the interviewer was weird. They made multiple comments that were jabs at my experience and my personality; I don't need validation because I know what I bring to the table, but it felt like the interviewer was trying to put me down and convince me that I was lucky to have made it that far in their process. Needless to say, I will not be accepting the position especially since they also want you to pay for your own background check that you only get reimbursed for on condition. In this job market, I don't know who is paying for the mere chance they might get a job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
describe your history, how does your experience transfer to the role, how do you market yourself, why do you want to work here? As well as more personalized questions/statements that I was too empathetic in my screening and they would like for me to be more 'pushy'.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Denver, CO) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process began as a phone interview and proceeded to a face-to-face interview. The process was more of a dialogue than a firm list of questions. The tone was more probing than testing capabilities.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2024
Interview
They try to sell you the job, It's almost insulting around $30k salary? Who is this job for? It's a scam. Not even a teenager should work for that little for a job like this. Also waste of time 2 interviews.
