I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2016
Interview
After applying it took about a 4 days to receive a call from their HR department, who wanted to do an unexpected on the spot phone interview. When I received the call I told the rep that I only had about 2 mins to talk giving that I wasn't expecting the call. She went on to ask me numerous behavioral STAR questions. I simply explain that I didn't have the time again and we rescheduled for the next day. The phone interview was scheduled for 9am, and it was going on 9:10, I got a bit worried and unsuccessfully attempted to reach, someone from their HR department to verify the time of my interview.
I ended up assuming that it wasn't going to happen, when 9:40 rolls around and I get the call explaining that she messed up some times. She was very nice and the interview was very easy. ( I honestly could have done her job better )
She then tells me that she would send an email for a online assessment
Assessment is timed but pretty easy
Logical thinking and problem solving along with some behavioral questions
Got a call the nex day to come in for a Realistic Job Preview interview
And she sent out an email giving helpful info on what to bring and how to prepare
Altogether in the interview there were 7 of us.
Very different from any interview I've been in.
Laid back and didn't seem like a group interview at all. They ask a series of pretty simple questions.
And lastly they have you come in one by one to for you to tell them why they should hire you.
It was a great interview I had an awesome interviewer we did more talking off topic than about farmers honestly . That’s how I ended up getting the job . I been here for 3 years
I applied online. I interviewed at Farmers Insurance Group (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2023
Interview
The first interview was a phone screening. The second interview was a group interview with a 1on1 interview combined. The process was very engaging. I now look forward to giving this my all and trying to create a strong foundation where I can excel.
