I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Financial Times (London, England) in Mar 2025

      Interview

Brilliantly manged process from HR and hiring team. Communicative and sensitive to the challenging job market for me as a candidate. Took time at every point to explain expectations and give feedback. I didn't get it but was looked after all the way through.

      Director Interview

      Dec 13, 2022
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Financial Times (New York, NY) in Nov 2022

      Interview

The interview process was nothing short of amazing. I initially met with their NYC recruiter. She was a consummate professional. I followed up only to learn that the position had been filled. However, this recruiter had another position in mind. She sent over the details of the position and in my opinion, was better than the original position that I had the initial conversation for. This was huge to me because it meant that the recruiter was very much in tune to me as a professional. She understood what I could bring to the organization and she understood her organization thoroughly enough to know that I'd be a good fit. A few interviews later, I received the offer. The entire panel that I met with were consummate professionals. Human Resources is quite knowledgeable. I can see Financial Times being my home for many, many years to come. Great culture. Great people. Exceptional onboarding process. Highly-recommended!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Financial Times will make you earn your position by way of interview. It's a great way to test your professional muscle. They are firm yet fair. I left all interviews knowing that I had been treated fairly. I had to do a presentation to the panel in addition to interviews with several higher-ups.
