      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Flatiron Health (New York, NY) in May 2015

      Interview

Overall, I had a really positive experience interviewing at Flatiron Health. Each person I met throughout the process were very friendly and truly passionate about the mission at the company. I felt like Flatiron set up expectations of the interview process upfront and we had open communication throughout. I felt comfortable asking questions if something was not clear to me (such as timing) and they would quickly clarify. I had an initial phone screen and then two on-site rounds. I had at least two interviews on each on-site round (two for the first on-site and four for the second on-site), with two interviewers in each interview. I met people from a variety of functions throughout the process and got a true feel for the company. Each interviewer started off by asking if it was ok to take notes on their computer, which was thoughtful. I also was able to ask questions (and in some interviews that ran longer able to follow-up with questions if needed). I was also always able to get anything clarified by my Flatiron recruiter if needed.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interview questions were a combination of standard, behavioral, and situational questions. The questions were applicable to the role, with behavioral questions specifically asking about examples in my past work experience and situations questions on how I would approach a situation at Flatiron.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Flatiron Health (New York, NY) in May 2019

      Interview

Interviewing with Flatiron Health was the most methodical and consistent interview process I've experienced so far. At each step a recruiter communicated with me about schedule and gave clear expectations and guidelines for each stage. I interviewed for a few different positions and made it to various stages, including the role for which I was ultimately given an offer. Each interview process was similar. I applied directly through the company website and was contacted a week or so afterward. From there, I was scheduled for a video interview, usually with the person to whom the role would report. Following that I was either scheduled for another video interview or invited on site for a series of 2 on 1 interviews back to back over 3-4 hours. Each in person interview consisted of situational behavioral questions as well as questions that seemed to come from each person's cross functional role in relation to the role for which I was interviewing. Questions also alluded to determining whether or not I would be a fit for the company ethos. By the end of the process, I felt I had a good sense of the day to day company culture as well as its evolution through the years.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Flatiron Health (New York, NY) in Dec 2016

      Interview

Interview process was very enjoyable and each interviewer made it feel more of a conversation, than a formal interview. I had two video interviews with different managers, before I fell out of the horse's race. However, the interview process was VERY enjoyable and it allowed the candidate to take control of the conversation. They expect you to be well-versed in their company and the role, so be prepared for questions as it may be a quiet conversation otherwise.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Flatiron Health (New York, NY) in Apr 2016

      Interview

The overall process moved fairly fluidly. I was in contact with the HR rep very early on and she walked me through the position to help me get a good feel for the role and opportunity. The interview team was great, they made me feel very comfortable through out the process. They asked great engaging questions and made it feel more like a conversation.

      Question 1

They were curious about my operations and people management experience as well as a time I had to solve a problem and how I did it.
