I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Flexport (Amsterdam) in May 2018
Interview
The application process was very smooth and surprisingly fast. It consisted of three following steps :
1) A questionnaire with three questions about an interesting thing that I learned recently, what makes me stand out from other candidates, and how I can add value to the company.
2) The first interview was the telephone one with the director of customs & data operations. Behavioral questions in addition to "walk me through your resume"
3) The second interview was a video one with the member of the operations team. The questions were almost the same as during the first interview, however, this time there was also a very easy business case related to freight costs. Overall impression of the interview was a bit weird because the interviewer was loudly typing something on her computer while I was answering the questions that she asked (maybe making notes, who knows). In addition to loud typing, there was some construction work going on at their office, which was also a little bit annoying.
Even though I had a good feeling about the interview and my answers, I got a rejection from them. I asked for the feedback regarding my application to know what I can improve in the future, however, I did not get one.
