FluidStack Mechanical Engineer Advanced Engineering interview questions

The recruiter reached out for an initial phone screening to discuss my experience and motivation for changing jobs. Although they indicated they would provide a personal follow-up regarding my status, I instead received an automated email stating they were moving forward with other candidates. It is important to note that this was a behavioral screening, not a technical interview. Furthermore, the job posting itself appeared to have exceptionally broad and ambitious expectations. The role required mastery across several distinct, complex fields—specifically CFD, FEA, HVDC/LVDC power distribution, EMC/EMI, and electronics packaging. Expecting a candidate with seven years of mechanical engineering experience to possess expert-level depth in every one of these specialized disciplines is, in my view, unrealistic
