During my first meeting, I was asked inappropriate personal questions (such as my age and whether I have children), which are not relevant to evaluating professional competencies.
At the second meeting, the interviewer arrived 20 minutes late without offering any excuse or acknowledgment, which I found quite disrespectful of my time.
Moreover, the communication between interviewers did not seem aligned. The final feedback I received was that I might be “better suited” for an ISRAM position, because I do not have prior experience in the Belgian territory (which was very clear from my CV). Additionally, this is not stated anywhere as a requirement in the role description for the RAM position.
Each interview required me to prepare beforehand and to attend physically, incurring travel costs (around €60 per round trip- uber), only to be informed at the end that I was never truly considered for the role in question.
This entire process gave me the impression of a lack of professionalism and coordination, which does not reflect positively on Fortinet’s image.
I share this feedback not out of resentment, but in the hope that it helps improve the candidate experience going forward.
