      I interviewed at Frontier

      Interview

I went to an interview in Temecula and the first impression was not great. I was asked if I have kids who would take me away from the job. Not legal by the way. Then I was told a younger girl had the leading position and there was no way of changing that. I was not there to interview for a position that was taken and age has no factor in this position, so I am not sure why we talked about this for 5 minutes. I have over 10 years experience recruiting and did not see that it was relevant who had another position or what their age was. I also was put off by the fact that they didn’t ask me any questions. Nothing about my skills or how I would intend to get people to work here and retain them. It seemed like they only want to hire young people they are attracted to. I would not work for this company.

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

Do you have kids and will they take you from your job?
      Answer question

      Question 2

We have a younger girl who is the recruiting manager and that is already set in stone so you can’t have that. I don’t want that to be an issue because she’s younger than you.

      Question 3

      What are your salary requirements?

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Frontier in Jun 2022

      Interview

The process is too long. Several people having one on one interview, afterwhich panel interviews. It feels like they want their candidates to fail rather than see the potential of the individual.

      Question 1

The usual experience and background. The problem is the same questions are asked by 5 people.
