The process moved pretty fast, within 2 weeks I was scheduled for the role play interview. The role play interview is so unnecessary. You play the role of an adjuster but not an adjuster for CARS in my case. I studied hard for the interview thinking it would be about AUTO adjusting and it wasn't. The place we met was very unprofessional. I have had many other interviews for the same position at other companies that pay better and aren't this ridiculous. This is a TRAINEE position yet they want you know what you're doing. I don't know if I was selected yet but I won't be accepting the offer if I was. My advice is look for a different company. Geico has a HIGH turn over rate and very unrealistic expectations going into this role play interview, as well as, coming out of training from what I hear.

Question 1
They play a tape for 35 minutes, 30 of which is reading off instructions on what your fake job is and how it doesn't adjust vehicles. Then you have 5 minutes to yourself to organize and review the 40-50 pages of instructions.
Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2025
Interview
applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

Question 1
What do you know about the job?
Why do you have a gap in your employment history?
How many times have you been late to work in the past 5 years?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Lincoln, NE) in Jul 2025
Interview
I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
