I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Mount Holly, NJ) in Feb 2017
Interview
Ridiculous experience. I made it all the way to the role play which I felt I did decent on given the fact they make you learn the job in 30 minutes. I stayed calm and collective like the others stated on here but was quickly shown the door right after the role play and said I'd be contacted within a few days. I knew what that meant and I received a rejection email the next day. Geico just a tip for you: if you expect people to know exactly what they are doing when they come in for the role play, don't refer to it as a "trainee" position. You'll save us all some time, gas, and a day off of work. I have a bachelors degree and a lot of experience in customer service. Will not be applying here in the future as the hiring process is drawn out just to get a "thanks but no thanks" email after doing a decent job given the circumstances for a TRAINEE position.

Question 1
On the one to one interview a couple of weeks before the role play: why do you want to be an auto damage adjuster?
Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2025
Interview
applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

Interview
I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
