I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Oklahoma City, OK) in Aug 2019
Interview
After applying, I received a link to an assessment. Afterwards, a week later, I received a link to perform a recorded video interview. 2 weeks after that, I was called in for an interview. The first thing they did was a role play scenario where you work for a fake insurance company and have to plan a route, handle repair companies and negotiate, and take information for and process a claim. You listen to instructions beforehand so it is not too bad. I actually had some fun in the role play to be honest. After the role play was my first and last in person interview with the Supervisor over Kansas and Oklahoma. He was really nice and took the time to explain the role and all of the benifits and expectations. I got really excited during the interview because this seems like a great company to work for. They said I was the first person they had interviewed and that they would get with me in a couple of weeks to let me know if I got the spot or not. It sounded like they were only hiring one person so I really hope it is me. Others said if you didn't get the offer before you left that you didn't get the job. I hope that is not the case.

Question 1
Why do you feel like you would be a good fit for this position.
Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2025
Interview
applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

Interview
I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
