      Business Analyst Interview

      Nov 14, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at GEICO (Washington, DC) in Mar 2019

      Interview

It starts with an online questionnaire they send you that you have to fill out. They will also ask you to upload your transcript. Following that, they will ask you to take an assessment that takes approximately 2 hours. If you pass the assessment they will set up a phone interview and then an in-person interview. I was offered the job but I declined it due to their unprofessionalism and terrible work environment that I experienced during my visit of their office. The process was extremely long and unnecessary. They say that they want to hire students right-out of college but they make the process complicated so that students can fail the interview or give-up. Instead of asking you questions about yourself they keep asking questions about Geico and what they should do to remain competitive, which shows that they only care about what you know about them. They also respond to emails very late, which shows that they are very unprofessional and unorganized. I am glad I am not working for this company as I accepted an amazing offer right before they offered me the job. I also learned from their own employee that their work environment is so bad and that they are not who they claim to be. Please avoid it at all costs. There are other amazing companies that care about and your talents. Worst Company ever!!!!

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO in Mar 2024

      Interview

The interview is literally like a SCAM! I received a pre-interview homework with very vague instructions before I even talk to someone. It took me hours to build a dashboard. No feedback from the team and I have no idea how they will use my work. Is this even legal nowadays? I got an interview later but the recruiter is so unprofessional, who can’t keep the words and shows no respect of my time. I declined the interview. I’ll never apply for GEICO for the sake of respecting myself.
