I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
I applied online and the next day I received an email asking if I was available for a phone interview. A phone interview was conducted that same week and I was asked to take a two skills test. A ready comprehension test and a test where you had to count three dimensional blocks. Both test were fairly easy. I was called that Monday and advised I passed the test next I would have to pass an MVD background. I was called Thursday and advised I would be scheduled for a 1:1 interview in Los Angeles, if I passed I would be invited to the role play the next day. I read other comments that people were able to do most interviews by phone. I asked if I could conduct this interview by since I was traveling from Arizona to California. I was told I could not, so I took time off work and flew to Los Angeles a week and a half later. Once I got there the interview started around 30 minutes late. During the interview I didn't feel like I was given a complete interview. the manager that interviewed me would ask me questions but wouldn't write anything down. After the interview I was told that someone would get back to me today regardless of my status. I waited around all day and around 5pm that day I got an email saying I didn't get to the next phase. I think some of the questions are not designed for a trainee. It seemed as if they wanted you to have some prior experience, which I had none.

Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2025
Interview
applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

Interview
I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
