GEICO was hosting a recruiting event on my college campus. Our career center asked us to submit copies of our cover letter, resume, and unofficial transcripts. I showed up for the interview and the recruiter turned me away because my GPA (2.40) wasn't high enough for me to be considered (even though I have 7 years of work experience). They want all of their candidates to have a GPA of at least 3.00. What a joke and what a waste of my time.
