The process started with a phone interview with HR, covering behavioral questions, job history, and one project in detail. Two weeks later, I was invited to a technical interview, which required a homework assignment. I had two weeks to complete.
The technical interview was over Zoom, where I was asked very specific questions about my project. However, during the interview, I was told the role had significantly changed—they were basically looking for an experienced UX designer instead of an entry-level Human Factors Engineer. It was disappointing that they hadn’t informed me of this beforehand, and it made the interview a negative experience. I chose not to move forward.
