I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) in Mar 2016
Interview
Interview process was quick and relatively painless. After a few phone calls they flew me out for what is called an invitational day. I'm currently writing this so I can look at salaries. Don't read too much into my review. I'm going to come back and edit it though.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Singapore) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied through an employee referral program. The recruiter got in touch with me a few days after to inform me of the opportunities available, what the interview process would be like and to gather basic information about my current role.
The first round was a series of behavioural questions with the recruiter. Mostly scenario based to assess experience and character traits that Gartner looks out in their employees. Drive, passion etc.
The second round was with the hiring manager who will be supervising you and the team. This one was more casual to understand your experience and how you can apply that to Gartner. They ask a series of question to highlight failure, learning experiences and fostering trust within team members.
The last round was a role play with the VP, Sales Director, Regional manager, Hiring manager and the recruiter. A case study was given and the interview was conducted to understand your sales techniques and interviewing skills. This was followed by a quick 15min presentation about yourself. This was the toughest part of the interview, it was a full skill analysis and assessment of how suitable you were for the role.
The recruiter was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and ensured that I was aware of what was coming next. What I needed to prepare for and was prompt in getting back to me.
