I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Georgia-Pacific (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2015
Interview
The HR department was like something I have never seen before. The girl scheduled and missed 5 phone calls, 2 on the same day.
It was unreal, I was scratching my head trying to figure out how a world class organization could put up with the incredible lack of professionalism.
She cut the first phone interview short, asked to postpone it, then weeks later she didn't seem to remember anything we had talked about. At that point I had written GP off, but when they offered me an interview who was I to say no.
Grueling 6 hr in person interview.
And BTW, even if I had gotten the offer I still would have rated it a negative experience because I have never in my life had to deal with anyone that unprofessional.
It was a really easy interview. Asked questions that were straightforward. Definitely still prepare for it. Important to ask any questions that you may have at the end. Including what do you look for in a successful candidate

Question 1
Tell me about yourself? What makes you a good candidate?
Went through 3 rounds of interviews and felt very promising. Flew in for a final in person interview. There was a revolving panel of employees who asked questions. Finally was what would be my manager. He was nodding off during my answers (I swear I wasn’t that boring). Either he was pulling overtime and getting no sleep or had some other issue going on. I didn’t get the job.

Question 1
Describe how you overcame difficulties during a project.
I applied online. I interviewed at Georgia-Pacific in Jan 2022
Interview
Starts with the typical recruiter interview where general and situational questions are asked, then 2 more interviews follow. The recruiter ghosted me, which I find highly unprofessional and would think a company like Georgia Pacific had higher standards than that.
