The GitHub recruitment process is a joke. It's clearly biased against women and minorities, and it's designed to weed out anyone who doesn't fit the company's narrow view of what a "good" employee looks like.
The written portion of the process is a complete waste of time. The questions are vague and difficult to answer, and it's clear that the people who designed them have no idea what they're doing.
The interview process is even worse. The interviewer was rude and clearly had no interest in getting to know me as a person. I felt like I was being interrogated, and I left the interview feeling completely defeated.
Overall, the GitHub recruitment process is a complete mess. It's clearly biased, it's a waste of time, and it's not a good representation of the company as a whole. I would not recommend it to anyone.
