The interview process was long but I got to know some very cool people.
Expect Racism if you find a south Indian and he takes on North Indian in an interview.
Round 1: Coding round. typical Hard backtracking question.
Round 2: System Design, hard, cannot be found on the internet.
Round 3: Diversity and inclusion
Round 4: wrap up the Hiring manager
Round 5: Behavioral
Round 6: HR wrap up
I got rejected due to Racism in typical Indian sense the same way I have seen a few places in India. Did not expected racism from such a good company.
I cleared all technical rounds, the HR gave feedback that feedback was SUPERB.
Thereafter, was behavioral, diversity, and hiring manager round.
All rounds went well except Hiring manager, I answered all the questions right. But I got the gut feeling that he somehow wants me to fail this round. But I managed to ace all his questions.
I was expecting to get an offer since I cleared all-round technical rounds with a SUPERB feedback.
But as per typical Indian racism, South-Indians don't like North Indians much, and I had bad luck there. The hiring manager was south-Indian. After a long and flawless experience, I get feedback that they cannot go further because the hiring manager thought I was good for lower grades but not for seniors. So they cannot offer me a job.
I did not expect a technical feedback after already getting a SUPERB feedback. In fact, some of the HLD concepts, I had to teach to the hiring manager when he was taking the interview.
