Interview
Applied in January, progressed all the way to the final stage interviews in March and despite performing very well and having great interview flow, I simply received an email saying I was close but the hiring team decided not to move forward.
No feedback despite asking for it. I would love to work for GitHub so just wanted to ask that they try to give something back to those who are disqualified.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at GitHub (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
Process was well aligned to the role for which I was interviewing. I felt the process was efficient and effective. All the interviewers had a set of questions they needed to cover, with the exception of the technical and engineering leadership interview which was more informal/casual.
The recruiter was helpful throughout the process, setting proper expectations, from recruiter screen to offer, and providing timely and meaningful feedback.
