After applying, I heard back from a recruiter within a month. The entire process after that was about 2 months long.
An email from a recruiter with a writing assignment
A phone call with a recruiter
A Zoom call with a hiring manager
A Zoom call with a "hubber"
A Zoom call with 2 more "hubbers"
After that, I got a more formal schedule from recruiters with a break down on what each call would cover.
Another Zoom call with 2 people.
A Zoom call about Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.
A Zoom call that should have been 2 people, but only 1 showed.
Finally, a Zoom call with a different hiring manager and then a final wrap up with a recruiter.
Here's where things got a little interesting. It was a long process and I got some really positive signals. I was told they would have an answer by the end of the week, which turned to the following week, which turned to another week, which turned to me reaching out twice for an update.
I didn't get an offer, but I was interviewing with other companies, so it worked out. I appreciate the long, drawn out interviews because it shows that they care about a good culture fit and hiring the right candidate. Each person was really kind and had wonderful things to say about the company.
